Fuel Surcharge

The fuel surcharge percentage for City-Link Express services is adjusted each month, and is based on a rounded average of the U.S. Gulf Coast (USGC) spot price for a gallon of kerosene-type jet fuel two months earlier.

Current Fuel Surcharge

There will be a two month lag in the application of the index. For example, the monthly average price for fuel in January is used to determine the applicable surcharge for March. This is due to the release dates of the spot pricing data.

The fuel surcharge for each shipment is assessed on the net freight charge and the following transportation-related surcharges:

• Remote Area Service
• Over Weight Piece
• Over Sized Piece
• Non Standard Day (for Pickup or Delivery)
• Non Standard Pickup
• Non Standard Delivery
• Repeat Delivery Attempt
